Allenbourn Middle School in Wimborne has just taken part in its 32nd pupil exchange with the Collège Victor Hugo in Sourdeval, Normandy. Pupils stayed with their penfriends' families and attended lessons as well as going on excursions to places of local interest such as La Cité de la Mer, a goat farm, a pottery and a biscuit factory. Shaftesbury Primary School had a busy end to the term.The Year 6 leavers celebrated their time at the school with an excellent adaptation of Hansel & Gretel, followed by a disco and an emotional final assembly.The School has also said a sad farewell to long standing senior lunchtime supervisor Mrs Heather Tucker who is hanging up her apron after more than 27 years service and hoping to enjoy more time in her lovely garden.
